Mother of Corals

Mother of Corals teaches communities worldwide to rebuild coral reefs. Its founder, Krista Shoe, is the Bocas Hope Spot Champion.

School for Field Studies

The School for Field Studies is an environmental study abroad program provider for undergraduate college students, offering fully accredited academic programs. The SFS Hope Spot team members are Dr. Cinda P Scott and Holly Hummel.

Cacao Blessings

Founded by Carolina Lescure, Cacao Blessings is dedicated to listen to the ancestry voices to provide nature’s gold: artisanal cacao respectfully handpicked by small-scale female farmers of Bocas del Toro, Panama.

Kawi Voyage

Sophie Garcia is cofounder of Bocas’ only ecotourism company.

Ankay Conservation

Paula Sills is cofounder of Ankay Conservation which offers diving and ecological monitoring programs.

Caribbean Coral Restoration

Founder Doug Marcy started Caribbean Coral Restoration to restore coral reefs in the Bocas archipelago.

Bocas Mariculture

Till Deuss founded Bocas Mariculture which operates a marine ornamental farm for species native to Bocas del Toro, Panama to sustainably sell species to the aquarium industry.

Sea Turtle Conservancy

The STC aims to conserve and recover sea turtle populations through research, education, advocacy and protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend. Xavier Ow Young is the Hope Spot representative.
